I (like many of you) am disheartened by this current political season. It's a joke to say the most. Many Americans are in a place they've never been before concerning an election- completely lost. There are great reasons to not vote for either presidential candidate. Hopefully you all understand how to weigh the cons and make the best decision to vote anyway, and vote for the person who has our best interest at heart.
With all of the terribleness that soaks this year's election.. many Americans enjoyed a moment of hope in the form of a speech. This speech was not from one of the candidates, but from our First Lady Michelle Obama. Last night at the Democratic National Convention FLOTUS delivered a speech full of hope and calls to action. Arguably she gave the best speech of the night. Michelle's heart felt & powerful speech is the most talked about moment of the night. Even Mr. President had to log on to his twitter account to show wifey some love!
Incredible speech by an incredible woman. Couldn't be more proud & our country has been blessed to have her as FLOTUS. I love you, Michelle.— President Obama (@POTUS) July 26, 2016
If you missed this amazing moment you can catch it below. I'm so thankful for such a regal yet humble, intelligent, boss, and Black First Lady like Michelle. It truly makes me proud to have witnessed her service, her grace, and her sass! Love this and her! Lets not just be moved by the moment.. lets honor these incredible words spoken by our First Lady by getting to action!! No matter how frustrated you are by this process.. get out and vote!
