The world has watched this gorgeous young lady grow up. The daughter of TI & Tiny, Zonnique is widely known as Star from the OMG Girlz, but now we can just call her by her real name. The public recently learned that the group had split after a pretty decent run as the cutest young girl group we'd seen in a long time. Now, all of the girls are grown and doing their own thing.
I have literally been itching to share Zonnique's solo music with you guys. Not only is she sounding better than ever, but she's such a sweetie and I'm all for supporting that kind of energy. Zonnique stays true to the sound of the new generation of what I call pop/rap music with her first major release, Nun for Free ft. Young Thug. She also stays true to the theme of being a young boss chic that we heard the OMG Girlz address time and time again.
The song was released on Tiny's Pretty Hustle label. The track was written by another Pretty Hustle family member writer and artist, Libby who you guys will be hearing so much more from soon! Libby has established a name for herself in the industry going back quite a ways, even though she's still very young.
Speaking of young, Nique tapped one of the most popular rappers in the game Young Thug for the feature on her new release. He comes through at the end in true Young Thug fashion echoing Nique's sentiments.
I'm so hype about this girl's career.. mainly because the bangers I've heard already are crazy! She's giving yall a little something to jam to, but please don't sleep on whats to come. This is Zonnique!
