Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the premiere for this visual from actress/singer Demetria McKinney. I was impressed by her warm energy and how fly she was, but at my core I'm always a singer/music lover first so I was a little shocked to also be impressed by her singing live. She sang happy birthday to a friend, gave a small tribute to her inspiration Whitney Houston, and really impressed the crowd gathered for the exclusive event.
Demetria brought up fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Claudia Jordan who I also found to be really funny and great to be around. The two touched on how they genuinely dig each other contrary to the idea that none of the women on the show really get along.
After introducing Claudia, Demetria introduced us to her visual for my jam Trade it All. She admitted that the video is loosely based on her experiences on reality tv and the speculation surrounding her new boo Roger Bobb. The video features fellow cast mates Cynthia Bailey, Claudia Jordan, and Demetria's stylist Dallas. Demetria looks and sounds great in the video. Her glam team for the shoot did their thing. I know most people know a lot of people only know her from RHOA or Tv, but this girl is not just another actress trying to sing. She really has a gift to do it. Being that reality tv isn't really my thing, I'm super excited to hear more from her as an artist. She's got a fan in me there! Check the true to life and sexy video out below. I love this song!
