The highly coveted Super Bowl performance went to Katy Perry this year. While many doubted her ability to own the stage as performers before her some of us knew that Katy would pull out all of the stops.
Staying true to her extremely colorful and engaging stage act, Katy offered viewers some of the most visually stimulating props I've ever seen. She truly brought her show to the Superbowl stage. Katy covered all of her hits stemming from a her first banger- "I Kissed a Girl" rendering a rocked out duet version with Lenny Kravitz.
She yielded her stage for just a moment to none other than the rap queen herself Missy Elliott! Missy his us with a couple of her jams before Katy came back to close the show. Katy Perry looked stoked to be up there rocking out with the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Missy E. two artists who like Katy found their unique style of music and expression and stuck to it.
Overall Katy did her thing. The show was beautiful to watch and who doesn't love Missy Elliott, Lenny Kravitz, or a good pop song? This combination made for a special jam session at the halftime mark of the Superbowl. If you missed it, you can watch it below... and one more thing... GO PATS! haaaa
