Chance the Rapper, Sway, and Others Give Back to Chicago Kids in a Big Way

I meant to blog this a while ago, but it's never too late to spread love. Chance the Rapper is one of those celebs who try their best to improve their hometown however they can. For Chance it's Chicago... tough. Known as Chi-raq, it's no secret that the city is in crisis. His latest contribution focuses on the education of kids there, which is a vital piece to the crime puzzle.

Chance collaborated with his brother Taylor Bennett, Sway Calloway, and a few others to raise $100,000 for the Get Schooled initiative. The money will go to improving a six local schools by enhancing their digital learning programs.

The Get Schooled program may ring familiar as it's the brain child of the foundation started by Bill Gates and his wife.
