Last night CBS aired a special Grammy Tribute for one of the best singer/songwriters/artists/humanitarians this world has ever known- Stevie Wonder. The who's who of Hollywood showed up to celebrate the legacy of the world hero. Artists like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Paul McCartney shared their sentiments about how Stevie Wonder was instrumental in their careers by way of sheer inspiration.
I grew up listening to Stevie too, and I'm still a fan of most of his perfect writing and melody driven songs. An accomplished humanitarian, genius songwriter, and talented musician- I can't think of another living being who has impacted the musicality of so many artists in the way "Uncle Stevie" has. Completely brilliant! It was great to see our favorite celebrities like Jay Z and Beyonce completely fanning for Stevie's music. The cameras even caught Jay Z singing to Beyonce a little bit!
If you missed the show, I think my favorite of the night was India Arie, Jill Scott, and Janelle Monae. Unfortunately I cant find good video of their performance, but I did find Queen Bey's! Check out Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, and Gary Clark, Jr's performance below!
