Hollywood Comes Out to Support Rihanna at First Diamond Ball for Her Clara Lionel Foundation!

Just a bit ago, Rihanna announced the launch of her charitable effort, the Clara Lionel Foundation. We've kept track of a couple of things Rih and her team have been able to do with this charity, and it's been great to watch. Recently rumors started to swirl about a ball being held as a fundraiser for the foundation. Turns out it wasn't a rumor at all.

Rihanna tweeted about the ball and confirmed it to fans who had been waiting to find out about the extravagant night. It was held last night and appropriately titled, The Diamond Ball. Rihanna pulled out all of the cards to give guests an incredibly beautiful night. Rihanna was the belle of the ball, dolled up from head to toe in Zac Posen the entire night.

So many celebrities came out and or showed support via donations or social media outlets. Brad Pitt, Salma Hayek and her husband, Kim Kardashian, Jimmy Kimmel, Vashtie, Kris Jenner, Ne Yo, his ex Monyetta Shaw, Ellen Pompeo Tyrese, Adrienne Bailon and many more came out to have fun for a great cause. It's reported that they raked in quite a bit of money to go towards Rihanna's foundation.

Not only was the decor sensational, but guests were also able to participate in  a pretty cool auction. Reportedly Salma Hayek took home aDamien Hirst piece for $190,000, and count it.. FOUR VIP experiences for Kanye's up and coming tour went for $74,000! Guests were also treated to a very special set from Rihanna. She covered all of her hits accompanied by an orchestra. She went all the way through her careers top songs, and from the footage the guests loved it. She even did Pour it Up- yes with an orchestra. Only Rihanna!

Her family including her Grandfather who the foundation is partially named after was also present. The other namesake is Rihanna's late "Gran Gran" who everyone knows was the love of Rih's life. Rihanna's brother- rapper Gallest instagrammed and tweeted just how proud he was of his sister.

We'd like to congratulate Rihanna and all involved in this foundation on a beautiful night. We know that the Clara Lionel Foundation will continue to do things to improve the overall quality of education, health, and the arts of communities around the world.

Check out a few photos from the night, and her performances including the classed out version of Pour It Up- which I must mention was arranged by a KayKiSpeaks.com fave Devin Johnson! As always for more on the night and all things Rihanna be sure to visit RihannaDaily.com!
