Just days before our exclusive Q&A with her, our girl Michelle Williams visited GMA to premiere her new video for her jam Say Yes! The record leaked a while back ahead of it's scheduled release, and it bothered Michelle a little that fans weren't hearing the final mix. After seeing how well the internets accepted it, Michelle's team hurried to action to get the final mix on iTunes & now just a few days later we have a video!
Michelle touched on how fun it was to work with Bey & Kelly again. She talked about their undying loyalty to her and her appreciation for it. She also revealed that the inspiration for the record is a Nigerian hymn she heard. You definitely get that energy from the record!
Bey & Kelly appear in the performance video that shows Michelle jamming at a community block party. She later joins her DC3 sisters at what appears to be a house party where they continue to sing and dance to the record. It's definitely a fun video befitting for the new song.
Michelle also revealed that her new album Journey to Freedom is coming this September!
