World News: Photographer Lisa Kristine's photos of modern slavery

For the past two years, photographer Lisa Kristine has traveled the world documenting the harsh realities of modern-day slavery. Yes, slavery still exists in places you wouldn't imagine (have you heard the city of Atlanta is named the capital of sex trafficking in the U.S.?), and Kristine's beautiful and haunting images will leave you speechless.

They consist of miners in the Congo, brick layers in Nepal and sex workers in Asia. As of now, 27 million people are enslaved worldwide. Stay awake!

Watch the video and be amazed - or horrified. Lisa Kristine's photos are meant to expose human stories and inspire change.
