Essence Magazine Debuts Black Hollywood Cover feat. Oprah, Forrest Whitaker, Chiwetel Ojiofor, and Michael B. Jordan

Totally loving this new Essence Cover honoring Black Hollywood. 2013 was an incredible year for Black film overall. There were incredible movies made, directed, and acted out by some of the best in the industry and those people happen to be black. Following Black History Month, Essence Magazine is releasing this star studded collectors edition. Within it's covers the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Forest Whitaker, Michael B. Jordan, and Chiwetel Ojiofor are highlighted.

While there were many more key players in film last year, we can't forget films like the critically acclaimed 12 Years a Slave, and The Butler. During their shoot, the actors spoke with Essence about their love for the art, and how they do it. They all seem to have such an appreciation for each other and all of the contributions made by fellow black actors and actresses in film. Watch the short video below and look for the cover on stands in March.
