Happy Holidays: Q. Parker & His Friends Go Caroling at Senior Living Home!

Yesterday evening I watched as some of my favorite voices in R&B took to their social media accounts to share photos and videos of the fun time they had caroling. It's definitely not out of the ordinary to see photos and videos of people caroling, it is afterall that time of year. What was extraordinary about this time was that the likes of Q. Parker and Mike of 112, Algebra, Meelah of 702, RL of Next, and Crystal Nicole set out to spread some holiday cheer to Sr. Citizens.

"Q. Parker & Friends Caroling for a Cause" stopped by the Brighton Gardens of Buckhead assisted living community and basically sang their behinds off. Nothing less than that is expected from such a group of singers/songwriters. From the looks on the faces in the photos posted, the men and women were blessed by their special guests, and it looks as though Q & friends had an amazing time doing it. Singing some classic carols, but only as they can.. the audience was truly in for a treat.

You guys know I'm a mush for stuff like this. When celebs take time to give back it really impresses upon the hearts of their fans/supporters to do the same. In no way am I shocked by Q's efforts to pull this together, and anyone who knows him personally knows that this is right up his alley. Good singing AND an opportunity to do something for someone else.. that's time well spent.

What a beautiful way to kick off the holiday season for the men and women at Brighton Gardens. Salute to all of the artists who went last night, and congrats to Q on a successful first event. Each of these artists have some wonderful things going on, I love that they took a moment to put a smile on the faces of others at such a beautiful time of year. Make sure you're on the look out for their various upcoming projects. It's so much easier to support people when you see them remembering what's most important and giving back in this way.
