Stevie Wonder Headlines Global Citizen Festival ft. Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Kings of Leon, and others
Spoken By
Kayki
Saturday's Global Citizen Festival held in New York brought out some of music's finest artists to help bring awareness to worldwide causes involving environmental, educational, and health issues. Stevie Wonder was the perfect artist to host the night considering his incredible impact on music and social change through it. The living legend performed a few of his hits, as well as a couple classics from other artists.
Alicia Keys, Kings of Leon, Janelle Monae, John Mayer, and Maxwell also graced the stage to perform for the 60,000 plus crowd. Tickets to such a show would cost an arm and three legs, you'd think, but most of the crowd Saturday earned their spots through volunteerism and other acts of kindness. That's a brilliant idea in itself, and what better way to thank them, then to have them serenaded by some of the industry's best.
This was the Global Poverty Project's Second annual Global Citizen Festival. Along with the 60,000+ in the audience, it's suggested that almost 15 million viewed online. The organization hopes to bring awareness and end extreme poverty around the world by 2030. A great night for a great cause.

Spoken By
RichaTee
In case you missed it, Islamic militants in Kenya wreaked havoc in Nairobi's Westgate mall during a terrorist siege that left nearly 70 people dead and hundreds wounded, according to news outlets. The attacks went on for several days, leading to a collapse of three floors inside the mall, government officials said.
Rihanna Performs What Now on Alan Carr-Chatty Man
Spoken By
Kayki
Rihanna's recent interview with English comedian and show host Alan Carr aired today and to our surprise, it revealed quite a bit about Rihanna that most wouldn't expect. Rih is known for her partying schedule being just as hectic and normal as her crazy work schedule, but in the below interview she reveals that she's been a bit of a square recently, not that much into partying.
As for her new rock & roll mullet style- she seems to really like it, and Alan Carr seems to have jokes on jokes about it. These two together are hilarious. Alan does ask Rih about her sex life which seems to be on a lot of people's minds. Rih reveals that she hasn't actually had much of one in a while....... hard to believe for some I'm sure.
The pop star closed her set with a performance of one of my favorite songs from her no.1 album Unapologetic- What Now.. love this live. Check the interview and performance below.
Toni Braxton & Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds Stop by the Recording Academy
Spoken By
Kayki
If this isn't legendary r&b in a photo I don't know what is. I guess this is like my older brother's generation's Tammi Terrell and Marvin Gaye, or Donnie and Roberta. They just make so much sense on records together. As they prepare to release their new duet album - Love, Marriage, & Divorce the two stopped by the Recording Academy for "A Conversation with Toni Braxton & Kenneth Babyface Edmonds". It's really great to see them looking soooo good and still sounding so good.
The two have created some of the best r&b grooves together over the years. Their latest from the new album is titled, Hurt You and it is so good! The album should be something epic because these two have both been through the highs and lows of Love,Marriage, & Divorce, which I'm sure will translate into some great stories.
The album will be Babyface's first in about six years I think. It's like these two resurrected each others' passion for music. The album is set to drop in December of this year. Check out some photos from the event and Hurt You if you haven't heard it already below.

Chris Brown and Drake to record together?
Spoken By
Anonymous
Sources are saying that Chris Brown and Drake squashed their beef at this year’s iHeart festival and may be getting into the studio together. After years of a long, drawn out and exhausting beef, it would be great to see these two gentlemen work together to take the music industry by storm! What do you think of this “alleged” reconciliation?
Don’t forget to get your copy of Drake’s album “Nothing was the Same” in stores and on iTunes now. Chris Brown’s album “X” is due out in November of this year and his current single “Love More” featuring Nicki Minaj is on iTunes now!
Also, make sure you get Rihanna’s number one album “Unapologetic” available in stores and on iTunes. (I mean come on guy’s! We know how this “beef” started and it wouldn’t be right for her not to get an honorable mention ;)) *Giggles*

Brandy Performs When You Touch Me Live
Spoken By
Kayki
As a Brandy fan, I know that there are some records of hers that are simply classics among the Starz. Among them is the sweet & effortless slay that is When You Touch Me from THE Full Moon album. This song is hailed by so many as Bran's best.. It's everything.
Thanks again to Frank "Silent" & TrueExclusives.com, for the first time ever we Starz get to watch Bran deliver this song live. In an emotional performance will touring overseas Brandy and her band struck up the much loved record. She sits in this performance as I like to say. She is present & absorbing all of the love the audience is there to give. Not only does she take that energy to heart, but she returned it with an amazing performance of a fan favorite.
I won't lie, I teared up a bit. This is a song I've sang many times, it's special to me, & finally we have Brandy in her prime singing it live! I can't take! Own it Bran!

Kanye West Talks Art & Frustrations with Race Relations in New Interview
Spoken By
Kayki
Kanye West sat down with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe recently for a rare interview. We all know Kanye is not here for the media. He rarely does interviews anymore, so it's great to sit and listen to his mind a bit. This guy is genius. He's hard pressed and anxious, but not without cause. Kanye West is a creative to the fullest. It's obvious his creative mind goes non stop.I mean... it does not stop.
In the below videos, you get to experience -technically- one of Kanye's twitter rants in motion. He's not only passionate about the arts, but it's obvious that the College Drop Out Kanye still exists. Kanye came on the scene and really brought the reality of the Civil Rights struggle to a new generation through his music. Although a lot about Kanye has changed since his first album dropped, his plight to expose the reality of race relations in this country is still very much the same. He's still passionate about it.
This interview can be a lot to take in, but if you take it in piece by piece and try to understand the fundamentals, he's really speaking truth. It makes me think about Lauryn Hill's Unplugged album. It was so heavily stuffed with content. It forced you to really pay attention. You couldn't just sit back and feel the music, you had to think as well. Kanye is doing the same here. He does seem very different from the Kanye we came to love when he first dropped as an artist, but everybody grows and changes.I'm always interested in what he'll do next. Soooo much creative energy!
Walking down Life's road

Looking back at my 20s, I can only wish I was well prepared for the piles of poop I would fall in. I wish I was well prepared for the butt whooping life was programed to give me once I was conceived. I truly do wish I was handed a How to Make it Through Your 20's manual on my 18th birthday so I would have two years to not only memorize the do's and don'ts, but to also think of extra scenarios to get my tail out of hot water. Most would probably say that's what parents are for and that we should listen to them. However they don't know my life story, lol.

New Video: Drake - Hold on We're Going Home
Spoken By
Kayki
Drake solicits some of his friends including A$AP Rocky to star in his latest video. The visual for Hold On We're Going Home-one of the best songs on his new album NWTS (in stores today) is comedic with a hint of gangster. The video takes us back in time and shows off Drizzy as a suave mob boss of sorts. He has to rescue his love interest after she is captured by his enemy.
I just love this record and I'd probably be ok with any video for it, but I must admit, this is a dope visual.

Jessie J + Brandy perform Conquer the World Live!
Spoken By
Kayki
Jessie J had a special guest to join her on stage at the iTunes Music Festival! Her record Conquer the World from Alive has been making it's way around the net. The record is a collab with Brandy, and I literally have not been able to stop listening to it. I blogged it the other day and you guys jumped all over it. I knew if these two had a chance to do it live- they'd go off.
The audience in London really got a treat when Jessie J's band struck this tune up earlier. These ladies delivered incredibly strong vocals on the record, and since they both really are singers in real life, their live vocals are just as solid. Check out their live set of it below, and can we just talk about how my fave is slaying her look these days!?

Gucci Mane Struggling with Addiction + Apologizes for Twitter Attacks: "Please keep me in your prayers."
Spoken By
Kayki
Last week the twitter world stood in awe (some laughter) as popular rapper Gucci Mane appeared to have a breakdown of some sort via his personal twitter account. He went on a full attack insulting some of his music industry peers. He claimed to have had sex with numerous female celebs, he threw some of his male peers under the bus, and also threw jabs at peoples wives..it was ugly.
Soon after the incident on twitter of course management stepped in to say, that Gucci's account had been hacked by his old manager and that such vile things hadn't actually come from the rapper himself-the traditional response to a celeb tweeting something they shouldn't.. It appeared that no one believed the hack story. A few of the celebs Gucci targeted retaliated via twitter and instagram saying that Gucci has a problem, amongst other insulting things.
Gucci was also recently arrested for possession and acting out with the police, and I'm sure you heard about his little attempt to fight somebody in Lenox Mall here in Atlanta. A fan captured him on video, and of course it went viral. All of this occurred just a day after his twitter bashing session. The world stood by in speculation, some laughing, taunting, and worried about what sort of state Gucci was in mentally.
Gucci's recent actions appeared to reflect a man who was spiraling out of control. We all assumed it was drugs because that's what a lot of the people he attacked on twitter suggested was his problem. Well, over the weekend Gucci Mane got back on his twitter account to address his recent erratic and immature behavior. The rapper "manned" all the way up and apologized for his behavior. He apologized to some of his peers as well. In what was the most important part of his apology to me, Gucci admitted that he has an addiction to lean and has been struggling with it for 10 years.
In a culture where all of a sudden this drug is celebrated, Gucci comes forward with the truth about what it has done to him and his life. He also says that he needs and is seeking help, and would like prayer. This did my heart so well, not just to see him apologize for his actions, but to go a step further and shine a realistic light on what so many are making out to be the cool thing to do. I'm not sure where Gucci goes from here, but much respect goes to him. Hopefully we can see him clean and healthy again soon!
See Gucci's apology tweets below:

Jay Z & Beyonce Forbes' Top Paid Couple Again
Spoken By
Kayki
For the second year in a row, our favorite couple Jayonce has topped Forbes' top paid couple list. The husband and wife are raking in some major dollars via investments, touring, and putting out music that the masses still respond to. According to Forbes these two raked in a whopping $95 MILLION in earnings between June 2012 & June 2013.
It's not rocket science if you think about it. They both have toured during this time, and Lord knows what else these two business minded people have their hands in to establish wealth. Some may have thought they'd see slow down in their hustle after the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy, but it appears the hustle has only picked up. There is so much to love about these two, but what I dig the most is how much they support each other. It takes something real in a man to sit back and acknowledge the power his woman has, and Jay does that so well. Bey is like a true fan of Jay's as well. It's so amazing to see.
These two are made for each other in my opinion. They just make sense. It has to feel amazing to have a partner you can rock the entire world with, and grind with, and win with. As Ne-yo said, they're a movement by themselves, but obviously a force when they're together! Love the Carters!
Drake Talks Dating Life with Ellen: Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Tyra Banks &... Kim Kardashian!?
Spoken By
Kayki
Drake is doing his promo run for Nothing Was the Same right now. Today he'll be on The Ellen Show. Of course to keep the fun going, Ellen did a really short and fun quick quiz Who Has Drake Dated? Ellen asked him about Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Tyra Banks, and Kat Dennings. Drake's answers seem honest enough, he seems a little caught off guard but he played along.
I love when celebs go on Ellen. She's such a fun person, and seems to be so easy to open up to. As for Drizzy, he has the music lovers going "ham" over his new album Nothing Was the Same and it isn't even officially released yet. I have to admit, I've been jamming it too. Check out Drakes fun dating game segment below and catch him on Ellen tonight at 4pm.

Press Play- Jessie J ft. Brandy- Conquer the World!
Spoken By
Kayki
I seriously almost lost it today when I realized this record in full was available to hear online! I have been patiently waiting for Jessie J's next album, Alive to drop here in the states only to learn that the release date has been changed for the American album. Listen, my heart broke.
The main reason I wanted to hear it was because of this duet she has with Brandy. The snippet gave me so much life when Jessie J dropped it weeks ago. To my surprise, somehow the record in full has creeped on to the internet! The incredible vocals that Brandy delivered on this, man... Jessie J is no joke either, these two can simply sing. Alive will be available in the UK on September 24th.

New Video! J Cole ft. TLC- Crooked Smile
Spoken By
Kayki
Crooked Smile is a fan favorite from J. Cole's crazy dope album, Born Sinner. The track is well loved for it's positive message, and it doesn't hurt that he grabbed the likes of music legends TLC to collab with him on it. For the visual he made sure to stay in the lane of delivering a life changing message.
The video was inspired by the death of seven year old Aiyana Stanley-Jones. Watch this emotional and tear jerker of a video for Crooked Smile below.

Spoken By
Kayki
Yesterday Chris Brown stopped by Skee Live for an exclusive interview and performance. He was greeted by fans who'd been waiting all day for his sold out show. Chris opened up about being the underdog and says he's learned to embrace it.
I actually love being the underdog because I get to prove somebody wrong every day.In addition to discussing his "underdog" mentality, he also gave details about what we can expect on X, his next studio album! Chris disclosed that he worked with Timbaland and Diplo on the project which he's hoping will be a double disc product with a total of 20 songs for fans.

Britney Spears Reveals Vegas Show Details and Says Leave Miley alone!
Spoken By
Kayki
Britney Spears made a huge announcement this morning while on GMA. Brit told fans that tickets for her Planet Hollywood show in Vegas go on sale today, yep..she's going to Las Vegas!!! She will perform 100 shows over a two yr. period.
Britney explained how much she loves Vegas and the energy there, so the show just makes perfect sense.
The 31 yr. old pop music icon also had words about Miley Cyrus' recent and highly discussed VMA performance. The vet basically said that she gives Miley props because she knows that any memorable performance is going to get people talking. Britney feels that Miley is just being herself and she'll be fine. Brit knows the pressures Miley is facing better than most. Nice of her to show some support.
Fans can expect Britney's next album at the end of this year, and according to her, it will be a rather personal one. She says she's opened up a lot about her failed relationships and overall personal life. Britney was adorable and goofy as usual. She was really happy to see fans, and even giggled about her first kiss being Justin Timberlake.
It's good to see Britney in a good place. The whole Vegas thing sounds like a win for her as well. Check out her latest single, Work B on itunes now.
Rihanna + Budweiser Present - Half of Me Documentary
Spoken By
Kayki
Budweiser's creative team is exclusively bringing you an intimate look at Rihanna's impact, and her connection with her fans in this mini documentary. Though this is definitely promo for their product, they truly give fans the chance to speak of how Rihanna has impacted their lives. As a part of their "Made for Music" campaign, this initiative is a full fledge movement celebrating the arts as a whole, and bridging the gap between creators and the people who love their artistic expression.
This short documentary entitled, "Half of Me" is an extension of that same idea. Fans from across the world come together in it to express how Rihanna through her music, attitude, and determination has enhanced their lives. The short video features a select few of Rihanna's massive Navy. The fans speak on their connection with each other as well as the one they have come to have with Rih. They not only support Rihanna in her endeavors, but they also lend support to each other on personal levels, and I think that's a beautiful thing. During the video Rih gives tidbits of advice, is seen performing during her sold out Diamonds World Tour, and of course cameras catch her just chilling with her crew.
I've witnessed first hand Rihanna's connection with her fans. She will wear or IG something made by one of them, or post a comment of encouragement to them in a tough time, or gather some other Navy together to help one fan make it to a show when something drastic happens. To the outside world this may seem like a small effort, but when you have hope or inspiration that enhances your life in any way it can never be considered small. Check out the short Phil Griffin directed mini doc below.
Stay tuned for more from Budweiser's Made for Music campaign, and of course Rihanna ( I think she's shooting the video for What Now!!!) Does this child ever stop working?
New Music: R. Kelly- Genius
Spoken By
Kayki
Kels is set to drop another baby making album in November entitled..wait for it.... Black Panties. It's only going to be his 12th album, no biggie. The respect R. Kelly has in the industry is unmatched. That was very evident when he did a small concert at this years BET Awards. I mean tore it UP! Check Genius out below..I'm thinking Kels will be increasing the pregnancy rate for many more years to come.
Pusha T & Kendrick Lamar - Nosetalgia
Spoken By
Kayki
Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, some real life stories, a dope track, and you have a problem. These guys are two of the most respected in the game right now. Coming together on this rider produced by Nottz the two MC's open up about their younger years. You really get to hear how the drug epidemic influenced Kendrick's childhood, and Push keeps it honest about his struggles with hustlin too. Real stuff. Crazy, but so many can relate.
Pusha is gearing to drop My Name is My Name October 8th.
This is explicit, but these dudes and the way this track rides.....too hard. Funk Flex premiered the record tonight.

Niecy Nash Writes Beautiful Tribute to Brandy "My Friend, the Icon"
Spoken By
Kayki
Most of us know of the special relationship shared between Brandy and comedian/actress Niecy Nash just from their everyday interactions via social media. They are always spending time together, tweeting and Instagramming photos, and it's obvious that they've come to consider one another family. So, it was no surprise this weekend when I saw a link come across my timeline for Niecy's Essence Magazine blog entitled, 'In Dedication to My Friend Brandy, the Icon'.
I, of course, went immediately to the post as I too consider Bran iconic, and I wanted to see exactly what her close friend had to say about her. The blog, though a short one is a beautifully written tribute. After sharing a cute little story about her teen daughter realizing that Brandy is Moesha, she enlightens us with the truth- Bran has stood the tests of time in this industry for 20 years. She's become stronger and better as the years have gone by. I had to catch myself while reading it because it resonated so much. As a huge Brandy fan I sometimes feel like people miss how great her contributions have been, and how resilient she's been, and most importantly how she has bloomed through it all.
Check out Niecy's incredibly sweet blog to her friend over at Essence. Niecy thank you for letting your readers know just how amazing Brandy truly is. What a powerful salute from her bff. This was beautiful!
Congratulations! LeBron James and High School Sweetheart Savannah are married!
Spoken By
Kayki
One of my favorite couples had a hush hush wedding this weekend. LeBron James has been confessing his love for his girlfriend of forever, and the mommy of his two boys Savannah Brinson without any hesitation for a long time. He brags about her via his personal instagram and twitter accounts like she's his crush. It's so cute to see the things he posts about her on a day to day basis. So, when word got out that the two had finally tied the knot, I was overjoyed.
While we haven't seen any wedding photos of the stylish couple, the wedding was confirmed by a few of LeBron's basketball friends and their dates. Another popular NBA couple, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union showed off their wedding gear the day of while Chris Bosh's wife Adrienne congratulated the new couple!
As the weekend came to a close we started to get more and more details about the super private nuptials. One of the coolest details is that Jay Z and Beyonce popped in to perform Crazy in Love! Now, I'm sure that was a super cool surprise for guests. The wedding is reported to have been in San Diego, and they celebrated all weekend.
It's not every day that you see a man in LeBron's shoes wifing his high school sweet heart. They are soooo cute! I wish them many more years of happiness and blessings!
Woah! Fan Pulls Beyonce off of Stage in Brazil
Spoken By
Kayki
Beyonce has proven over and over that she is one of the greatest performers of all time. She owns the stage. We've seen her shut every stage down, we seen her slip and fall, tumble down stairs, perform pregnant, cry a bit, the most of the most has happened to Bey while performing.
What I never thought I'd see is a fan bold enough to try to pull the beautiful songstress right off of the stage, but thats exactly what happened yesterday in Brazil. Yes you read that correctly. A crazed fan grabs Bey as she singing Irreplaceable for what may have just been chance to hug her. Bey almost falls into the crowd before security rushes over and grabs her.
As she has every single time a mishap happens, Bey continued her song. Of course security rushed to escort the young fan out of the show, but to everyone's surprise Bey tells them to leave him alone, and even goes over to the dude to get his name. What a sweet lady for that. These fans recently have been pushing it. Not sure how many other celebs or people in general would have reacted like that. Bey's a gem. See everything happen below!

Drake's album is coming out track by track, and while I'm no fan of leaks, something tells me the full thing is coming sooner than we know. Either way, I expect this album to do great numbers.
Drake is making new fans everyday. Twitter has gone crazy with all of the leaks from this album tonight. A few faves from my feed are Own It, Connect, and The Language.

Drake Gets Personal on Jimmy Fallon- performs new record Too Much ft Sampha
Spoken By
Kayki
Last night Drake dropped by Late night with Jimmy Fallon and chatted it up a bit with the talk show host. Drake is a character to me. I love how he is talking in this interview. Drake's always been very well spoken and articulate, but it seemed to be in overdrive last night.
Drizzy talked his new album, and it's features. He bigged up a few fellow artists, and talked about his upcoming tour. Drake also performed a brand new record with Sampha called Too Much. It is truly a personal record from the sound of it. Drake started the performance with a disclaimer to his friends and family. I'm sure Drake fans are super hype right now because this new song comes just a day after they heard another new record, Wu Tang Forever. Both jams are set to be on Drizzy's highly anticipated new album, Nothing Was the Same out September 24th.
Check out Drake's performance, interview, and flirtship with the newly engaged and gorgeous Scarlett Johansson below.

To my 7 yr old, my beauty standards aren't enough
Spoken By
Tiarah
"You're pretty, just not pretty enough to get a second look..."
She didn't say it in these exact words but I understood what was being said at the core of my seven year old daughter. In so many words she was saying that in this sea of "beautiful" women, I wasn't fit to get chosen. As of late she's always asking when I'm going to get married, and I have to explain to her I need someone to love me first. Initially I laughed her comment off, but being the sensitive woman I am, one of my seeds of insecurity started to grow. It's bad enough as a black child I had to escape the White standards of beauty. It's bad enough that as a black young woman I barely escaped the Colored standards of what beauty is. You know, having great curves, long hair, and caramel skin. And now close to being 30 I still have to keep running from more beauty standards?

Always Remember
Spoken By
Kayki
Many people like to focus on the terror of this day 12 years ago, and my heart does go out to those directly affected by the attack of September 11th, 2001. I would also like to encourage everyone to also remember the way every day people became heroes on that day. Remember the sense of unity that we all felt. How for the most part race and class ceased to matter for a day and we all just felt like, Americans.
My heart also goes out to our Muslim brothers and sisters who have carried the unfounded weight of blame since this day. May we as a country and as the World community focus on loving one another and embracing our differences without judgement. Always Remember.
Duke's Head Coach, Coach K Has a HUGE crush... on Beyonce!
Spoken By
Kayki
Well this is cute. One of the most popular coaches in college basketball just proved that everybody loves them some Beyonce. Coach Mike Krzyzewski coaches Duke's Basketball team and supposedly at camp last week he told a cute story about being so in looove with Jay Z's wife:
“So anyway I go up on stage and do 10 minutes and say really nice things about LeBron, Jay and of course Beyonce. The event’s over, and this is where my street cred, like, was bouncing all over the world. I’m asked to come up on stage and take a picture with LeBron and Jay. So it’s LeBron, Jay, and K. It’s on Twitter, Instagram, I don’t know, was Vine going then? It’s on all that crap. I mean in Hong Kong, Beijing, Moscow. My (expletive) going all over the place. I am the coolest 65-year-old (expletive). However, however, what I want has not happened yet. I want to meet Beyonce. … I go up to Beyonce. You know how guys think they have a lot of good lines? And, so I go up and I’m nervous as I can be. I’m like a teenager. And I go to her with a great line. I say, ‘Hi, I’m Coach K.’ And she said, ‘Coach, I know who you are. I just listened to you for 10 minutes.’ Like, patting me on the head. Little boy. So now I feel like I’m 11. So what’s my next line? I come up and I say, ‘You’re my favorite.’ My face is red as can be, you know, I’m like 4 feet tall right now. And she says, ‘Well, that’s nice.’ And I asked her — and I don’t usually do this — but I said, ‘Would you take a picture with me?’ So she takes a picture with me and I look, really, like I’m 12. But my street cred, as big as the other one was, goes everywhere. So, tonight, it’s not like being with Beyonce — it’s as good as being with Jay-Z.”Why is this so cute to me. You can really tell he was nervous, "you're my favorite" hahhaaaa, and look how red he is in the photo! I think that's adorable. No worries Coach, she definitely has that affect on people, just don't let Jay Z know.

Serena Williams Wins 5th US Open, for her 17th GRAND SLAM!

Congrats to my good sis Serena Williams for winning the the U.S. Open Final yesterday. Watching Serena sort of reminds me of The Bulls and MJ in his prime. It was something to watch him pull through at the very last minute. Serena is one of those athletes that has the ability to just deliver when all is said and done- just like MJ did.
Serena's 17th Grand Slam championship was not at all an easy win. She had her opponent Victoria Azarenka who is a beast in her own right, and some strange winds to battle, but in the end she pulled through. Serena wins not only the honor of continuing an amazing legacy, but athlete also wins an insane amount of money- it's reported that she's going to be upped at least $6 MILLION with her win! Check out some pretty cool photos below of her match!
Chime In- Is Rihanna's Ghetto Goth a Rock it or Knock it Situation?

Our girl Rih is known as one of those chics who can just rock anything. I think Rihanna's style often speaks for her. You can sort of feel her mood from the way she dresses. Outside of her body and face structure going well with just about any look, she's got all of everything fashion at her fingertips. Recently we've seen Rihanna go from a vulnerable and girly sexy back to a darker "ghetto goth" look as she describes it.
Rih has been spotted out and about with dark shades, plum lips, reds, blacks, basically clothing you really would consider goth. Not to mention she showed up to the VMAs in jeans and a tshirt (and still managed to slay by the way). The last couple of nights she's been spotted out at NY Fashion Week events and the darker image has continued. I think for the first time I saw an outfit that I didn't dig last night at Opening Ceremony, but for some reason- it still worked for her.
I'm a huge fan of Rih's style and fashion sense. I've said many times that the girl can pretty much wear anything, but I must admit, I don't prefer this dark look. Rihanna is a gorgeous woman with a beautiful body, so she can wear whatever she'd like. I'm moreso here for the softer and lighter/sexy Rihanna than this ghetto goth she's going after, but who knows.. this is probably just how she feels and she can express that as she wishes.. what style of Rihanna's do you prefer?
