In Case You Missed It: President Obama's Speech to Families in Newtown, Connecticut Following School Shooting

It is times like these that the country looks to our leadership for some encouragement and resolve. Since the devastating massacre that occurred Friday in an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut this country has been grieving as a whole for the lives lost- most of which were 6 & 7 yr. old babies. Last night our President visited the vigil and delivered yet another consoling and heartfelt speech.
It was very obvious from the moment he addressed the public that this situation hit home for the father of two. The President cried while giving his remarks at the White House on Friday and was quoted as saying that Friday was so far, "the hardest day of his Presidency."
While there isn't much you can say during such a horrible moment of loss and fear, President Obama definitely stepped up to the plate and offered some hope and encouragement to the victims. Check out his full remarks below if you missed them:
