New Music: @LadyGaga on Kendrick Lamar's "B*tch Dont Kill My Vibe"

Here's a fun fact you may not know. While the hip hop community is praising Kendrick Lamar on the release of his highly anticipated (and great) first major release, good kid, m.A.A.d city, somebody major didn't make the album. Lady Gaga, who is Lamar's label mate was set to be featured on two records on the album and turns out she wasn't featured on any.

Her feature Partynauseous didn't make the album at all, while her feature on Lamar's hit B*tch Dont Kill My Vibe was cut. Lady Gaga released her original cut of BDKMV to fans via twitter along with the above photo from Halloween..we're assuming the Romney guy is actually Kendrick. It sucks that their collaboration didn't make the album, but you can check out Gaga's version of BDKMV after you read Gaga's message on exactly what happened.

“I apologize to the fans that this situation with Partynauseous is confusing. To clear it up I must explain this. When I collaborate with an artist i work solely with them, not with their camps or management. Its purely organic and creative..I love Kendrick dearly as a friend, but was not willing to compromise musically to the changes his team was making to my music. This is why I am not on his record. I have a very specific vision as a producer and songwriter, and I always have. That song will be released at a different time, for a different project. I love you, and think you should check out his stuff because he is truly great. He’s a good kid, its just sometimes a mad city.”
