Dick Clark, television producer probably most famous to this generation for his New Years show "New Year's Rockin Eve" suffered a massive heart attack this morning from which he didnt recover.
The television host has had many gigs over the years. He was the face of the Rock & Roll hit show in the 70s American Band Stand, but became a household name, face, and voice in the Early 70s when his New Years show first aired.
In recent years Dick's health has failed him preventing him from going the show as lead host, but he continued to make appearances even up till last year.
Mr. Clark leaves behind a huge legacy in television, along with family, friends, and many many fans. He was 82 yrs old. Not liking to say goodbye, he'd always say what we say to him now.. "for now.. so long."
