Toya Wright Blasts TPain!

Moment of silence for the WERK Toya's putting in in this photo.. ok..

Whew! Do not mess with Toya's man! Last night I saw a tweet from her that I knew would be the talk of town today. While watching TPain's Behind the Music, Toya was totally discontent with her husband Memphitz not getting the credit he deserved in the final edit of the show.

She tweeted out that she was watching it specifically to see if her boo got his props, and when he didnt she had one thing to say,

F#@K @Tpain

The tweet was quickly deleted, but not before her numerous followers were able to RT & comment.

The issue is this- it's a little known fact that her hubby Memphitz is the A&R responsible for putting TPain on as an artist. Yep! Basically, you've got your Im in Love with a Stripper jams because of Memphitz. Tpain even appeared in their reality show Toya's Family Affair on BET, so the two have an extensive history/relationship.

Naturally, Toya felt slighted when her husband's part in TPain's success was ommitted from the show. Though she has a right to be upset, her blame may have been pointed in the wrong direction. According to TPain- it was merely an editing thing with VH1 and he did in fact tell the whole story.

Memphitz had a few words to say as well, but ultimately made it clear that theres no beef.

Can you blame Toya for not wanting her love to be slighted (which does happen a lot in this industry)? Is she right or does she owe TPain an apology knowing as a tv star herself that they edit things as they wish..? Maybe theres more to this story than what we see. Hopefully all works out with them.. friendship is important.

@ChrisBrown Take Over!! New Video: "How I Feel" Webisode + New Music "Sweet Love"

Breezy is unstoppable right now. Seems to be getting things done professionally an enjoying his personal life as well. He's been on a billion features in the past couple of months including the collaboration with ex Rihanna.

In the meantime he's had time to give his fans some hot new music and webisodes. Yesterday he released a video for the record he released just days ago  called How I Feel. It depicts him flying in a private jet performing the song.

Chris Brown-How I Feel from Mechanical Dummy on Vimeo.

Along with the video he premiered a brand new song Sweet Love, where he samples Silkk's Freak Me.

Chris is getting it in on the business side of things. Good for him. A little xo's on top for Team Breezy.. here are some recent photographs from he and girlfriend Karrueche's instagram accounts ...

Rihanna Answers Ashton Kutcher Question with an ATTITUDE {Vid}

RihRih has been in the news again lately and for more than the fact that she's in a huge summer blockbuster. Papz spotted Rihanna supposedly visiting Ashton Kutchers home in the wee hours of the night and from that moment the media went crazy.

The story is that she's been seeing him since December amidst rumors that she and Chris have rekindled their romance. Chrianna's twitter accounts seem to suggest that they both are trying to move on- Chris with Karrueche and Rihanna with the help of friends and some great song lyrics.

Well, Rih Rih is not known for biting her tongue much so to little surprise, when a journalist asked about her personal life yesterday during a press conference in London for her new movie Battleship... she gets all Island woman & Snnnnaps back. lol

I've tried my best to be minimal about people's personal lives because it's obvious that feelings are real and it's a touchy subject, but it's my job so I have to. I do totally understand Rihanna's reaction though.....peep it and a few photos from the day below. Rihanna is stunning and oooof course bff is in toe.

Chaka Khan & celebs put together tribute for #TrayvonMartin

Chaka Khan has been so inspired by the life of Trayvon Martin that she gathered musicians and actors in a studio to put on hoodies and record a remake of her 2007 song, “Super Life,” in his memory.

@BowWow Talks His "Brother" @ChrisBrown's @Rihanna Reunion

Some people know(some don't) that Chris Brown and Bow Wow are real life best buds. The two have toured a couple of times and are around the same age so they've experienced young stardom together.

We haven't heard much from either Rihanna or Chris Brown's actual camp/friends about how they feel about the two reuniting on a song or romantically until now.

When asked about Chrianna, Bow Wow dismisses it in the same way Rihanna did-as just a situation where Rihanna is just the perfect fit for the record and nothing more.

Westwood- Talk is that Rih Rih & Chris Breezy are back together again, whats your take? She just couldn't keep away..?

Bow Wow- I know they got a hot record out- you know thats my brother. You know what I mean..Me and Chris, a lot of people don't know, but we're kinda like the same individual. So, I don't even have to ask him..... same person..close, so.. yea got a hot record out.
Westwood- Exactly. You know, in our world, they make artists role models but in a lot of other genres they don't do that.

Bow Wow- For me, I like it though, because its music. I think the outside world is just taking it like they want to perceive it....at the end of the day its entertaining the brain. You know what I mean? Chris never came out and said anything. All Chris said was, "I got a remix and I got a hot artist" which she is.. and that whole techno sound in the club she's poppin.. so from Chris' perspective she was probably just perfect for the record. Just 2 great artists working with each other you know? Its all business man, its all music man, lets make music. Thats what we're here for..

His body language suggests that he knows what Chris is doing and doesn't really want to share whats going on. He answered with this very obvious smirk. Rihanna's bff Melissa has been confronted on twitter with questions/statements of Chrianna and even Karrueche, but she responds very sarcastically.

We can't really say that anything is up based upon their bff's responses, because bffs ride for each other. They'd be the last to put any Chrianna business in the streets if they didn't think it best for them.  Full interview below where Bow talks about his baby girl and money woes.

Bow's new album on YMCMB will drop June 12th & is rightly titled Underrated!

Press Play: Justin Bieber- Boyfriend

Bieber's new and highly anticipated single, Boyfriend is now available on iTunes!

@RitaOra on what it's like to hang with Jay & Bey

Jay's newest star Rita Ora is finally getting some love from the airwaves. It looks like her fans are FINALLY about to get their fix. It's odd calling her "new" as she's been signed to Roc Nation for like ever, but sometimes these things take time.

She was patient with the process and now has released her first single, RIP. On top of her single, a few other records have made their way onto the internet and radio, Party & Bullsh*t being one that she actually premiered with Jay Z in New York. It's been a whirlwind  Im sure as everything is finally picking up full speed for the vibrant singer.

In the below interview fans really get a sneak peek at Rita's adorable personality. She's extremely jittery which sorta fits for her and how cute is this accent!?

She seems very genuine in nature and when asked about what it's like to hang out with Jay & Bey, she responds that its just like "hanging with your friend, its normal.."

Rita also opens up about her relationship with Rob Kardashian, her 21st birthday, and Gwen Stefani.

Interesting enough, Rob was just arrested Sunday night (but soon released) after he chased down a pap who captured him having a pretty heated argument with Rita in the streets of....so............about them not being an item..............?

Sinead O'Connor Speaks About Trayvon Martin, Blacks, and Hip Hop

Sinead O'Connor is probably not a name mentioned a lot amongst Trayvon's family, black people as a whole, or Hip Hop heads either. She's a very outspoken artist probably most known for her bald head and  her chart topping song, Nothing Compares To You.  She recently released her latest album, How About I Be Me (And You Be You)

With a career spanning really over generations, Sinead obviously has had enough time on her hands to do some observing and learning. She opens up in an extensive blog on her site about what she's learned so far and her opinion on the Trayvon Martin issue. If you have a moment (I did say extensive), check it out  below:

I would like to extend my very deepest sympathies to the family and other loved ones of murdered teenager, Treyvon Martin. I am very sad today (and am certain the whole of Ireland is) to learn of poor Treyvon's terrifying ordeal and horrified by the fact his known and named and admitted killer has not been arrested, despite the crime having taken place a month ago. This is a disgrace to the entire human race.

For those out there who believe black people to be less than pure royalty, let me inform you of a little known, but scientifically proven, many times over, FACT. Which after reading, you will hopefully feel both very stupid and very sorry. For you dishonor your own mothers and grandmothers.

EVERY human being on earth, no matter what their culture, creed, skin colour, or nationality, shares one gene traceable back to one African woman. Scientists have named it 'The Eve Gene'. This means ALL of us, even ridiculously stupid, ignorant, perverted, blaspheming racists are the descendants of one African woman.

One African woman is the mother of all of us. Africa was the first world. You come from there! Your skin may be 'white'.. because you didn't need it to be black any more where you lived. But as Curtis Mayfield said.. "You're just the surface of our dark, deep well". So you're being morons. And God is having the last laugh at your ignorant expense.

If you hate black people, its yourself you hate. And the mother who bore you. If you kill or wish ill on black people, its yourself you kill and wish ill on. As well as the mother who bore you.

When you dishonor the the utter glory and majesty of black people, you lie. Your heart lies to you and you let it. Despite seeing every day, all your life, how you and your country would be less than wonderfully functioning and inspiring to the world, without the manifold and glorious contributions made by the descendants of African slaves, who did not by the way actually ask to go to America and leave their future families there to be disrespected for eternity.

What are you doing hating yourself by hating your brothers and sisters who daily show you nothing but inspiration and love, despite having NOTHING, in their own country? Despite having barely a chance of anything, because of racism. Despite being granted no 'permission' for proper self-esteem.

These beautiful people continue to believe in and even manifest Jesus Christ better than you do. That alone could stand as the greatest reason your racism is blasphemy, were it not for all the other reasons.

These people you hate and fear ARE the body of Christ, just as we all are. Every child, woman or man. And they know it. Maybe thats why you cant bear to look at them. Because you see Jesus Christ and you cant stand the light.

Stop this ridiculous and uneducated attitude. You would be dead without black people. Think of all the greatest music ever composed. The greatest songs. The greatest inspirational heroes.. Muhammad Ali, Mandela, Martin Luther King, Harriet Tubman, Soujourner Truth, Bob Marley, Nina Simone, Curtis Mayfield. So many absolute angels, sent from God.

Without the inspiration of these people many millions of so-called 'white' people, including myself would not have had the strength to pay the price of life.
And black youth in America. I'm talking to you here too. I love you. So I don't mean to sound cross, I'm just being a mother.. Why are you killing each other? Why are you hating yourselves? You are the most important people God ever sent to this earth, every man, woman and child among you! Don't let uneducated people win and take your self-esteem or your esteem for each other, and make you kill each other. over guns, drugs, bling, or any other nonsense.

You are now entering YOUR version of a sort of civil rights movement and you're gonna see history being made in what has certainly the profoundest potential to become THE most wonderful country on earth. Because soon ALL 'isms' and 'sits'' will end. including racism, as the people of the earth begin to understand, we are all one.

We came from one mother. We are all brothers and sisters. And we CAN get beyond this ILLUSION of separateness. With prayer and love. It CAN change. It WILL change. And YOU guys (young people of all kinds) are the ones who are gonna GENTLY change it. And you know where it starts? With MUSIC.

Don't be guided by rap. Gangsta or otherwise. Sure.. enjoy it.. adore it.as I do.. but realize this.. rap ain't about your civil or spiritual rights, baby boys and girls. It.. along with most music nowadays.. is about falsenesses and vanities. Bling, drugs, sex, guns and people- dissing. Its giving you the message you ain't 'good enough' if you don't have bling and ting.. and money. Or if you're not what it deems 'sexy'.

(This is true of all popular music not rap alone. I know. Its tragically true of all popular youth culture the world over).

Poor Curtis Mayfield must be crying all day and night ALL day and night in heaven, every day and night.. To see what has been so successfully achieved by those who sent guns, drugs, and bling to squash the civil rights movement. Now you all don't have to be murdered by racists any more.. you're murdering each other FOR them! And your parents and grandparents are left crying.

Go back to strong black musical guides who left you information in the 60s and 70s. when they were living through the civil rights struggle. Curtis Mayfield. The Impressions. Nina Simone, Mahalia Jackson. Sing back the Holy Spirit ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, as those artists did.

Forget bling. Forget "Get Rich Or Die Trying". That is an evil message. Evil my dears is only life backwards. Turn it the right way up. With music. The messages American black youth are being given through music are not about the spiritual and therefore strong and conquering but PEACEFUL making of YOUR country into the wonderful place it secretly is and can be.. BECAUSE OF YOU, and BY YOU!!

You know not how you are adored, appreciated, valued, loved, cried for, smiled for, prayed for, all over the world. You know not how much inspiration and uplift-ment of heart you give to millions just by your presence on earth.

These musical guides will give you self-esteem. When you have self-esteem you can achieve anything. You can stand in the street as many did yesterday and change your country peacefully and with song. Chant down Babylon as the Rastas say. Rastafari will also give you self esteem. Investigate it.

You will notice, my beautiful sons and daughters, when you study, as you must, footage of all civil rights gatherings, how singing and music and sound and voice and the Holy Spirit were all employed and were so much part of the energy which moved things along.. just as running was in the South African gatherings I saw on tv in my own childhood, which inspired me to survive my own horrors.

What you listen to musically and whether or not you employ the Holy Spirit's highest will for your life is whats gonna make you transcend all you're having to suffer (the worst of which is low self-esteem.. or esteem based upon material 'success' or 'sexiness')) as a result of being the descendants of people who didn't ask to be stolen and leave you where you are. Delete bling. Get conscious with your music. Demand conscious music from your artists. Go back to the artists who left you proper guidance.

This is some serious stuff and we (all manner of musical artists) are too silent on matters of enormous spiritual importance. Lemme ask you.. Jayzee and Eminem et al. Why was it always the black people only worked in the post rooms of record companies, which was always in the basement? Why was it that as each floor went up the skins got paler till it was fuckin ghosts at the top? And all us artists.. even me.. said nothing? Those buildings (record companies) always struck me as being a microcosm or painting of America, racially speaking. Christ almighty.. if its like that in the music business how is anything ever going to change?

We, musical artists are too silent on important stuff. And it is our job to be the gate-keepers of truth. ALL the people of this earth must come together eventually and see that we are one. ALL artists must stand up. Black, white, yellow, green, pink, fucking polka dot.. and be a light in these times.

The world is going to shift massively this year.. spiritually speaking. Musical artists are to be a massive part of that shift. Get up, lets all of us. And light Jah fire.. and BE lights.

Where's the fire gone from music? Where is the love? the oneness? The knowing that music CAN and WILL move things in the right spiritual direction without hatred or violence? We must box clever. Sing the devil to sleep at your feet. Thats what Curtis teaches. He is the master of ALL musical masters. forget, forget, forget and forget again bling and guns and drugs and the worship of fame and money. Its time to wake up. We KNOW the power of music. Why aren't we using it to change anything important?

Musicians all over the world should now gently demand this child's killer be arrested immediately and the family of Treyvon Martin be immediately apologized to upon bended knee. Frankly. I myself would like an apology! America is a country I love and adore. what this man has done is un-American in the most horrific extreme.

Him not being arrested is extremely embarrassing and does absolutely NOT paint the true picture of of a country and a people who for the 90% majority are the kindest, most loving, intelligent, and wonderful people you could know.
Please.. ALL Americans should deplore this crime. As should ALL people of ALL nations. And deplore the fact this man has not been arrested. All Irish people should do the same. And I ask that we here in Ireland should express through our American embassy that we would like to see this man arrested this very minute. Because racism is not acceptable. Nor is vigilantism. And this was very clearly in no way at all a case of self-defense.

I leave you with some lyrics of Curtis Mayfield's which I feel are appropriate for this situation. I am certain Curtis would have wanted to contribute to discussion on the issue of Treyvon's murder and the condition of young black people in America today.. so here goes.. the song is called This Is My Country.. from the album of the same name.

Some people think we don't have the right
to say its my country
before they give in
they'd rather fuss and fight
than say its my country
I've paid three hundred years or more
of slave-driving sweat and welts on my back
This is my country
Too many have died in protecting my pride
for me to go second class
We've survived a hard blow and I want you to know
that you must face us at last
And I know you will give consideration
shall we perish unjust or live equal as a nation?
This is my country.

@KingJames, @DwyaneWade, & Miami Heat Stand in Tribute for #TrayvonMartin

Lebron James posted this photo on his Facebook page with the caption:
We Are Trayvon Martin. Hoodies. Stereotyped. We Want Justice.

Very powerful statement and from such powerful people in our society- pro athletes. For the Heat to stand  together hoodied up for Trayvon is a great site to see.

Along with this photo other athletes and celebs have tweeted, posted, or shared their feelings about this situation. As his teammate, D. Wade also has joined the movement changing his twitter profile to this photo in support of justice for Trayvon.

The good in horrible situations like this one is that, people come together.  I'm certain justice will be served to the individuals responsible for Trayvon's death, and the mishandling of this case following his demise.

"If I had a son, he'd look like #Trayvon" President Obama

Leery of impending on any ongoing investigation, President Obama has finally made a statement and was very careful of his words when speaking about Trayvon Martin this morning. The President expressed sincere discomfort with the outcome of the situation  and wanted to send a message directly to the parents of Trayvon Martin.

"You know, if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon."

Simple statement, but very profound for the country to hear, and ironically- Trayvon could very well be his child- the resemblance for me goes beyond their race... As a black man President Obama understands what it's like to live in this country and the hopes and dreams black parents in particular have for their children.

Not to say that parents of other races don't but as African Americans our history of struggle in this country is so complex and still a reality for the most part.

For the president to reinforce the idea that he as the President is black and relates to this family in that special way was very smart and endearing of him. Beyond that, this is an American issue..period.

The way the justice system often punishes our criminals more, but does less for our victims is so sad. Its a reality that people don't wish to admit, but is a researchable fact.

We're all rooting for Trayvon and his family. We've seen some progress made, but the world wants an arrest and even a conviction for what seems to be a heartless murder.

@4EverBrandy & @MonicaBrown Pay Tribute to Whitney in Atlanta Last Night

In a lowkey concert sponsored by V103 last night in Atlanta.. Brandy and Monica came together for an intimate performance for some of the Atlanta elite and their biggest fans. Tickets were nearly impossible to get and I practically begged for them! I knew it would be a great show and Atlanta would represent. As seen in this video Mr. Atl himself- TIP and Tiny were front and center.

Thanks to RollingOut.com for having this exclusive front row view of the show on video.

The most heart wrenching part of the show was when the two songbirds came together to honor the woman they both credit with being one of their biggest inspirations- Whitney Houston.

Ironically, they were among the last people to see her alive as she sorta barged in on their interview the day before her death to give them hugs and kisses.

Even more ironic is the fact that when the news broke yesterday that the coroner linked her death to cocaine found in her autopsy, the two ladies were in the studio at v103 with cameras rolling. Brandy took the news hard, lowering her head to the table in sadness.

As she was in the studio, she was obviously shaken at the show last night as well.

You guys know I love Whitney and my Brandy! I feel her heart on this, and I know Whitney is so proud of her and Monica!! Check their tribute below.

@Abercrombie Responds to Bogus Abercrombie Site with "N*gger Brown Pants"

In a statement to TMZ, Abercrombie and Fitch made it clear that they are in no way affiliated with a site that began to circulate yesterday on the web making many people uncomfortable and even angry.
Their statement was simple:
We do not condone racist language. This is a counterfeit website and we have initiated legal proceedings to shut it down.
The site- boasted to be an outlet for the clothing giant selling items at discounted rates. When I heard of it, I personally tweeted the company demanding an explanation of the site. I figured it was bogus, btu still felt the company owed their consumers at least a statement that they were working on disassociating their name from such a racist site.

The site has obviously been shut down via A&F's lawyer team so the link is no longer valid, but the site was adorned with everything you can think of to make it seem legit, the only problem- a pair of "Nigger Brown Pants". S/o to A & F for handling that really quickly!

Whitney's Cause Of Death Revealed

Whitney's toxicology reports are in. According to the coroner Whitney's death was accidental. The cause: "drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use." The toxicology reports also found a plethora of other drugs in her system including marijuana and Xantax amongst them.

The reports do suggest that the rumors of extensive alcohol usage in the last few days of her life are not true as her alcohol levels were very low. The coroner according to CNN's Don Lemon says that Whitney most likely had a heart attack from cocaine usage and then drowned.

Whitney's family has released a statement:

"We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure"

I was among so many fans praying and hoping that she had fully kicked the habit as her family so adamantly claimed, but you can never really know with a recovering  addict. I still love Whitney, she is still the most astounding voice of my time, and I still appreciate her legacy. My prayers go up for her family at this time.

Miami High School Students Walk Out In Protest #TrayvonMartin {Live Video}

This has been really profound for me to watch unfold. In what seems to be unified and well planned out march- students of Miami Carol City High have walked out in protest of Trayvon Martin's murder.

Some have signs, some are hand in hand.

These Are a Few Of Rihanna's Favorite Things

Celebrities are exposed to endless amounts of really hot fashions and usually at very little cost to them. They get stuff sent to them all of the time because they really are the best walking billboards.

So, needless to say the most famous celebs don't have to repeat any outfits/accessories. They've got the whole fashion world at their fingertips, so it's a bit noticeable when a celeb repeats a few pieces. In comes the beautiful Rihanna.

Rih Rih is well respected for her game changing style sense. Her glam squad is THE business. We've seem the Only Girl star rock a billion different styles and even hair colors but there are a few items that she's been spotted in a few times.

Rihanna loves this red polkadot hair bow that she has been seen wearing for years. She also digs these Miu Miu red pumps that she wore in the "Man Down" video as well as a few other occasions. Another staple- that red lip that she rocks regularly now.

We all have a few things in our closets that we adore. Just guessing that these are a few things Rihanna loves. I'm sure you'll see her in them again soon.

P.S. So Rih Rih was spotted arriving at Ashton Kutcher's house at like midnight the other night. She supposedly left around 4 am..this is according to TMZ. He's preparing to sell that house so maybe she was just getting a tour................................................................................................................lol- ahem any who.. more photos below.

Jada's Video for Burn (Her Dedication to Will)

This Valentines Day Jada Smith put rumors that her marriage was on the rocks to silence or at least a very very low volume- with the release of a very sensual song called Burn that she dedicated to Will on her FB page. Now, just a month or so later she's finished the video and it too is dedicated to her hubby and their 17 yr relationship.

Rumors continue to circulate about their marriage and how it's not working, but this song and recent photos of them out and about don't suggest anything but pure love and infatuation for one another. I wuv the Smiths!

The video is a simple performance shot of Jada singing with her band Wicked Evolution behind her. Before the video begins the GORGEOUS Jada Smith explains it- in Spanish! Y'all are lucky my Spanish is pretty decent- this is basically what she's saying.

"This song is very important to me because it’s the start of new love for my husband. After 17 yrs I never thought I could love him more. Here’s Burn"

Is Chris Brown Depressed?!- Posts Eerie Van Gogh photo

Chris Brown has had his share of ups and downs. His life has been played out before the world, as a rich, famous, and undeniably talented young man.

It is no secret that the past few years have probably been extremely difficult for the pop sensation as his relationship with Rihanna ended and under very horrible circumstances. In the years following their altercation Chris has had a few more bumps in the road with media and his own actions depicting someone who hasn't quite figured out how to channel his feelings.

Last night just after tweeting about getting Cake (his remix with Rihanna) on iTunes, Chris deleted almost every tweet from his account and sent out this tweet,

"At Eternity's Gate"

He then changed his profile picture to this infamous painting by Vincent van Gogh entitled, "Old man in sorrow-on the Threshold of Eternity" van Gogh, who suffered from mental illness is said to have killed himself just after finishing this painting.

So... I was moved to send up a quick prayer for Chris last night when I saw this. He loves art- maybe he's just sharing another piece he thinks is worth sharing. He's known to delete his twitter page on occasion, so maybe this is just another refresh. I hope those things are the case, but Chris is under a lot of pressure and is the butt of  a lot of hatred for some mistakes he has made.

Throughout the past few months since his collar with Rihanna his spirits and mental state have been on my mind a lot. Even the strongest person can break under such constant attacks.  It's really sad that people seek to destroy a person after they've made mistakes as if their hatred now is any different from that person's hatred in the past.  I hope that he is not depressed and if he is- that he has support around him for help. Lets hope for an explanatory tweet from him soon. I'm rooting for Chris!

#JamAlert!!!! @RyanLeslie, @MyFabolousLife, @TheRealTank, & @TeyanaTaylor jam to new record "Beautiful Lie"[vid]

So.. this guy Fab is probably one of my favorite rappers. I don't think he gets the love he deserves as a rapper, but he is undeniably one of the illest rappers out. He's been that way. Laces every verse, always on chill, got a lil sexy on him, Fab's that guy.

Another incredible artist/producer Ryan Leslie snagged this collaboration with Fab for the first single Beautiful Lie off of his visual album Les is More. I love R. Les too. He is incredible on production and just the way he executes these banging records is captivating. I can't wait for this full record to drop!

Ryan stopped by to premiere the Beautiful Lie remix with Fab in the below video. Also present was Tank and Teyana Taylor- who is always everywhere. Can somebody tell me what she has going on?!
