Hate it or love it..Pink Friday is platinum! This is huge for music and especially for female rappers. We needed this boost to encourage other young women to pursue what they think is off limits for them. I knew and was hoping this would push good numbers. Its just best to look at the bigger picture beyond how you feel some times.
Just six weeks after its release, Nielson Sound Scan reported that Pink Friday, Nicki's debut has pushed 882,000 to date (1.5.11) ..Kudos to her!
