At some point last week I figured that the genius that is Kanye West is always full of surprises. So, to stay on top of his genius, I decided to get his tweets sent directly to my phone. All has been well with it. Ive had a few moments where Ive been so tempted to disable his tweets but I pressed through them and Im glad I did. Last night.. well early this morning Kanye started with a new record for the fans. He's been on this kick of putting out a record every Friday. So as usual Im expecting to blog the record if I like it, and its cool so thats coming up next, but what I wasnt expecting was to wake up this morning to like 25 texts/tweets of his from through out the night. Kanye went on one of the most incredible twitter rants in the hsitory of twitter. This guy is a wonderful mind. There were so many key points, so much wisdom was in those tweets I honestly couldnt process them as fast as he was sending them.

As we all know Kanye has been scrutinized to no end following his interruption of Taylor Swift's VMA acceptance speech last year. For  the mainstream media it was a random outburst that by no means could be explained. From a fans perspective & I speak for myself... it was like the bottom of a steep hill that Id seen Kanye falling down every since his mother's sudden death. Rude & irresponsible yes, but was it more to it? Definitely. Kanye has taken a haitus and much to his fan's delight he's starting to come back. He recently got a twitter account that reached thousands of followers in one day and has been releasing new music to his fans via his twitter account and blog. He's been doing ustream videos answering questions (even questions I dont feel he should have to) and making his presence known again to his fans.

Out of all Kanye has accomplished during his time on twitter, he hasnt really tweeted much about his Taylor Swift incident. Im not sure.. maybe it is the looming VMAs, or maybe he just had lots on his mind, but either way last night was his night to get it all out there. Ending with a simple, "Im sorry Taylor." Kanye covered everything from his ego, & his insecurities, to his responsibility as a human being, the media, & his legacy. He also sidetracked for a moment to wish his big sister Beyonce a happy birthday! :) It was all a positive vent. I was quite annoyed by some of the tweets in my timeline in response to what he was saying. I seriously contemplated unfollowing a few people today. As I said earlier on twitter: People are idiots.. the proof- Kanye at the VMAs a year ago & some of the tweets in my timeline about him now.. there is no difference.

Lest I hold yall any longer (because I could go on & on) check out some of his tweets below. Also consider.. who REALLY is benefitting from this whole thing? I mean.. lets say Kanye & Taylor sat down together to face the media & Kanye apologizes followed by Taylor's acceptance. Would it not end it for the most part? Kanye apologized on twitter, I wonder if Taylor will demonstrate progress & tweet that she accepts it.
