The longest serving Republican Senator, Ted Stevens was among 5 casualties of a plane crash in his home state of Alaska Sunday night. Senator Stevens is a well known, well respected member of our government. He has a family, and a host of close friends who are grieving his death along with colleagues, and the state of Alaska as a whole. There were others who sustained injuries including NASA administrator Sean O'Keefe & his son. My condolensces to all involved. Here is CNN's video on "Remembering Senator Stevens".
