Natalee Holloway Suspect Strikes Again?

My freshman year in college, our world was shocked with the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway. Natalee was last seen with Joran van der Sloot, a young Dutchman while on a graduation trip. I remember this being such a startling story because being a freshman at the time, with the Spring Break trips and all very relevant, someone going so far away from home and disappearing was a scary, but very possible reality. I believe Natalee's disappearance made a lot of people including parents even more careful.

Natalee's parents searched and searched for Natalee's body for years. Joran was arrested as a suspect, but was released even after joking about killing Natalee. Her body was never found. Natalee's parents were scrutinized by many for continuing to search for their daughter and for being "a certain way" with the media. But really, when your teenaged daughter goes missing and the person suspected of it is released, what is the "right way" to act with the cameras in your face? I remember seeing a movie about the Natalee Holloway story and just being so sad at the whole outcome.

Outrage considered Joran was still released, and as some said, to strike again. Today reports have come forward that a 21 year old woman was found dead in a Peru hotel room registered in Joran's name. It has also been said that he has fled the country. Nothing about this feels right to me. Im almost sick to my stomach to think that despite all of the evidence pointing to him in the Holloway case, he was released and now another woman, another family, another country has been devastated. Please pray for Stephany Flores Ramirez's family and friends. Pray that somehow they will get to the bottom of this and that in the process, Holloway's family will find some peace as well. And if nothing else please be careful out there on vacations and such. Dont leave your girls with anyone!! TNT BabyKayKs
